At Won Hundred, we are continuously improving and innovating with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. We recognize the significant impact the fashion industry has on many factors, and our goal is to implement innovative solutions to reduce this impact as much as possible, aligning our operations more closely with the natural environment.
The Denim Commitment outlines our strategic approach to enhancing production processes with a focus on sustainability. Through this initiative, we are dedicated to adopting more responsible practices.
Partnership with Jeanologia
We work closely with our suppliers to continuously develop and refine every aspect of the denim production process, both within our supply chain and in post-purchase possibilities. This collaboration allows us to make informed adjustments and improvements to move all stages of production in a more sustainable direction. To achieve the lowest possible environmental impact during the washing process, we have partnered with Jeanologia, a leader in sustainable and efficient garment finishing technologies. Their expertise helps us significantly reduce the use of chemicals, energy, and water in the production of our jeans
The Environmental Impact Measuring Software
Jeanologia has developed the Environmental Impact Measuring (EIM) software, a vital tool for analyzing the environmental effects of jeans production. This software evaluates the finishing process in four key areas: water, energy, chemicals, and worker health. A lower score out of 100 indicates a higher level of sustainability, with scores below 33 categorized as low-impact jeans.
We use the EIM tool not only to monitor and evaluate our low-impact washing processes but also to identify areas for continuous improvement. Our aim is to consistently enhance our sustainability efforts. The insights gained from this program guide us in creating more sustainable denim garments for future collections while also improving our existing products.
Sustainable Practices
The EIM tool enables us to select the most eco-friendly wash for each denim model, ensuring that we minimize water and energy usage while avoiding high-impact washing processes. In 2024, 75% of our denim range is rated low impact, and we are committed to increasing this percentage with as much as possible as quickly as possible. As part of our sustainability methodology, we are also focusing on using almost exclusively recycled water during production. From 2025, we have marked the inside pocket of our jeans with the Low Impact stamp. When you see this inside your garment, you'll know it was produced with a minimum of enviromental impact.
The True Blue
At Won Hundred, we strive to improve the blue—both in the jeans we create and the world we aspire to protect. Through continuous innovation, we aim to make our denim more sustainable, ensuring a truer, more responsible future for both fashion and the planet
